It is the forward and backward traceability of a food product, feeding stuff or an animal producing a food product or any other material that is mixed with or expected to be mixed with a food product or feeding stuff throughout its stages of production, processing and distribution.

What can be done with Traceability?
It is possible to access information on the date, place and method of production for the product concerned as well as the information on the year harvested, date of expiration for use and the company exporting the product.
